Hotel Adler

The views from the room, with greenery and nature outside the window, were incredible. I had such a short stay here, for my mountain elopement with my now husband right across from the hotel, but the scenery made the celebration feel surreal. We're so grateful we got married somewhere so beautiful and met such lovely people. The staff were incredibly hospitable and kind, and our hearts and stomachs are full. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen, stove, and refrigerator, which was a nice surprise. The beds were two twin beds pushed together, something new to me as a Canadian, though it didn't bother me. We speak very little Deutsch, and I'm vegan. On the first day, our server didn't know much English, so we used technology to translate the bistro menu ourselves and work out what we could eat. The food was delicious. When we returned the next day, they had printed an English version of the menu on thick, high-quality paper. We also met the kind chef while passing the kitchen, and he offered meal options beyond the menu so I wouldn't have to eat spaghetti every day. Breakfast was included. One day, the chef added Milchreis mit Früchten (rice pudding with fruit) to the buffet and had told me the day before that he'd make it vegan. That thoughtful gesture touched me so much. I still think about that Milchreis and wonder if I can make it at home. Maybe I need to come back. Vielen Dank für alles.

The room was small, but with that view, location, and price, who cares? I could see and hear Alpine Marmots, the mountain, and alms from my room. I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere with a view like this. I spent one night here to explore this part of the Alpes, and the hotel's very quiet road made for a peaceful night. I was glad to park in the underground garage. It's a great place for hiking and spotting mammots, red kites, quails, and different butterflies. I'll definitely return. Anyone who loves the Alps and nature will adore the location.

We've been coming to Hotel Adler for most winters for 34 years, and each year brings something new. It just keeps getting better. We've skied in Switzerland, France, America, and other Austrian resorts, but always come back to Adler. It's simply the best. The location is fantastic, with runs for every ability right outside the entrance, now connected by cable car to Lech. There's wonderful food and a really friendly family atmosphere. We fly in from England and can be on the slopes in less than half a day. You have to try it to believe it.

There's direct access to the ski slopes when there's enough snow. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, with a lovely spa, friendly staff, and good food.
