The comforts are pretty basic, but it’s clean and the reception staff are nice.

The apartment in "Haus Erle" was even better than we expected, with lots of space and everything clean. It had Wi-Fi, a television, board games, and a fully equipped kitchen. The other guests, including families with children, were all quiet and considerate, and there’s a parking space right in front of the building. We only had trouble finding the garbage room because it wasn’t described in the information folder. The hotel village itself is beautiful and right on the water. We’ll definitely come back.

The lakeside setting is lovely, with a sunbathing lawn and bay just outside. It’s great for families with small children, since there are hardly any cars around. Be ready for mosquitoes in the evenings, though. On hot summer days, there’s also a risk the lake could become eutrophic, often due to nutrient pollution. The rooms can get uncomfortably hot without air conditioning, which is one reason I won’t return. Ground-floor rooms don’t heat up as much, so it may be better to avoid peak summer.
