Siebenbrüderhof

The owner was pleasant and helpful, and the apartment is conveniently close to the bike path, a restaurant, and a bar. It’s in a courtyard, though, and you have to pass other owners, who sometimes walk right by your windows. The apartment itself was neglected, dirty, and poorly maintained. There were cobwebs everywhere, the floor was dirty and hadn’t been mopped, and the bathroom had mold. The shower drain was full of hair, so as soon as you turned on the water you were wading in it. The bed linen was old and torn. The refrigerator was a tiny minibar, dirty and not defrosted. We had to inspect everything thoroughly when we arrived. The photos don’t match the actual condition, and the price didn’t match the quality at all. It felt like a quick-profit operation with no effort put in. We were very disappointed.

That little patio and its big table would be perfect for plenty of summer evenings. The place itself is really lovely too, in a location that feels one of a kind. It’s a great self-catering stay. Breakfast choices nearby are a bit limited, though that’s nothing the accommodation can be blamed for.
