I called to book a room, but the receptionist just kept saying no and then hung up on me. Luckily, I didn't need this arrogant hotel. Watch out, try somewhere else!

The rooms feel really welcoming, and breakfast was brilliant. Frau Mandl is especially good with guests. I’d happily come back anytime.

We’d stay here again. The Danube is right across the road, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great too.

It’s a lovely family-run place, close to the village and its many wine bars and restaurants. The Wachau World Heritage trail is just a short walk away.

Good value for the money, though it didn’t feel as luxurious as the photos made it seem.
