The room looked out onto a stunning lake view, and the staff were friendly and courteous, making us feel at home. The atmosphere was welcoming and everything was very clean, though the furnishings are a little dated. The bathrooms have been renovated and work well, with heated floors. Breakfast was standard, with sweet and savory choices, and eggs cooked one of three ways, with or without bacon.

The private beach is exceptionally large, and the family atmosphere and friendly welcome really stood out. Breakfast was high quality and well chosen for a hotel of this size. The fresh eggs were especially delicious. Our room was fine too, with nothing to complain about. I can highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

You can walk to the village in about twenty minutes and reach the lake in five, so this charming guesthouse is ideal for a car-free skating holiday. The house was clean and had everything we needed, while the owners were attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The cozy lounge was a great place to play games or have a reasonably priced drink together when the weather wasn't good. Children are at home here, and dogs are welcome too. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and the accommodation spotlessly clean, right on Weißensee lake with a beach and sunbathing area. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs freshly cooked on request. They even brought me spelt rolls without being asked, knowing I have a food intolerance. Highly recommended!

On our second visit we were completely satisfied again. Today, right in the bathing area by the house, we saw a great crested grebe diving in the crystal-clear water. Even this shy bird seems to feel safe here.
