The halls and corridors looked nicer than the room itself. The room was clean, but nothing special, and the bathroom was small. I haven’t stayed in a three-star hotel without a bin, fridge, or electric kettle in a long time. The window was in poor condition, so the room got quite cold overnight. For the price, I don’t think it was worth it.

I couldn’t wait to move to another hotel. I went on a trip with friends, and we had to switch rooms three times. First, they gave us a single room even though there were two of us. The second was filthy, with an empty water bottle, a dirty spoon, a receipt, and dirt all over the floor. The last room was okay, but still had dust around and a really dirty carpet. A friend took the elevator and ended up in the basement, even though there was no button for it, and struggled to get back up to her floor. The hallway lights didn’t work properly, and the food wasn’t good. It felt horrible and a little scary.

The staff were exceptionally polite and courteous, and breakfast had a great spread. It was a comfortable stay and a great experience overall. It may feel a bit different if you’re used to hotels in North America.

The person at the counter couldn’t have cared less and did nothing to help. I needed to leave early, so I got a lunch pack, but was told I could keep it in the fridge even though there wasn’t one in the room. The room was like an oven with no air conditioning. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the accommodation was nice. It felt like home.
