Hotel Ploberger

I travel a lot, and this is the first bad review I’ve written in years. The room was basic, and I wouldn’t stay again. At check-in, I had to use an iPad, which seemed slower than having the receptionist do it on the computer. I’d assumed “private parking” meant the hotel had its own parking, but she told me to park on the street. When I asked what the public garage cost, she didn’t know and told me to look it up myself. Her attitude really needs work. It’s a basic hotel, definitely not as fabulous as described. I paid the same price for a nicer hotel in Wels with proper private parking, but it had no availability.,

Two very kind ladies greeted us and were so friendly and helpful. We’d been driving on vacation with the children, and on the way back to Belgium we decided at the last minute to stop for a night in Germany. I found this lovely hotel online and called ahead, and they confirmed they had a room. Everything was perfect, with top service. I’m very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

The breakfast had loads of choice, and everything was clean and peaceful. The staff were lovely, and there’s a gym and sauna too. Parking right in front is cheap and free from 6pm. Hotel Ploberger is a straight 10/10 for me, nothing to complain about.

The staff are fine and the breakfast is good, but I’d strongly advise avoiding this place. The general manager seems greedy and doesn’t understand the business. Customer convenience and loyalty don’t seem to matter there. Avoid it by all means!
