The building has a lovely look to it, and the rooms are roomy and clean. It’s simple, without any extras, but breakfast was good too.

The staff were very friendly and tried to help, but they often seemed overwhelmed. We got a €5 café voucher for two people because there was no TV. This does not feel like a 4-star hotel. The Chamber of Commerce revoked that rating in 2015. There was no TV after the switchover, and the internet in our room was unreliable. The windows were dirty and had cobwebs, and the curtains were dirty too. In the newly renovated toilet there was no soap or wastebasket. The very large, newly renovated bathroom had no hooks or stools. Our room had no decorations, and the hallway bench was heavily soiled and had burn holes. There were holes in the wall and no pictures. Reception closes at 10 PM, and we couldn't access the parking after that. Drunken teenagers in the café at 8:30 AM harassed guests. We couldn't find the restaurant, and the café was closed on Sundays and holidays. In the café toilet, one toilet was broken, tiles had holes, the mirror was peeling, and one light was out. Our first breakfast was served in the café, with no buffet. Get a room in a higher category!

The service was quite nice, but the choice was tiny, just three small dishes, and they had run out of bread. Sausages or goulash soup with toast instead of rye bread or a roll didn't really work.
