I spent a couple of days trying to decide what to write and how many stars to give. My boyfriend and I kept talking during the stay about what to do. The food tasted amazing, and the room service was quick whenever we needed towels, with very friendly staff. I could use the gym whenever I wanted, which was great. The dinner service is what left me angry. The buffet was good, though there was no fish option. The five-course menu felt chaotic and poorly organized: they only brought the main course to the table, while we had to get the rest ourselves. On two nights we waited 45 minutes for the main course and had to ask three times. Staff then suggested we had set something up wrong in the morning, which we had not. Some servers were better than others, and they apologized after getting things wrong twice, but it was too late. They offered complimentary drinks, but we were upset and didn't want anything. It would have been nice if the drinks we'd already ordered had been covered. The midday buffet was delicious, but different snacks arrived 30 minutes later. If the plates were empty by the time you came, that was that. The walls are thin, so you can hear everything at night. The gym had no disinfectant, towels, or water. The stationary bike was broken and had no resistance levels, and the left side of the elliptical kept swinging away. The pamphlets mention a table tennis area, but there wasn't one set up. Our full board plus package included soft drinks only from 7/8 am until 5 pm, and no Coke, Pepsi, or other named soft drinks. I paid for the full experience and didn't expect a time limit, yet we had to pay for drinks at dinner. The washbasin was in the room. I also lost my electric toothbrush charger at the hotel. Staff hadn't found it when I asked if they could send it to me, so I had to pay a lot for a small replacement. That wasn't worth the expense. I'm still mad about the dinner incident, so I'll leave it there.
