Bio Bauernhof Vorderoberlehen

We stayed three nights in late spring and loved the peaceful valley setting. It was easy to reach lots of popular areas from here, and there were plenty of places to park. The rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen had the utensils we needed for cooking, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We paid half when booking online, then settled the rest of the booking and breakfast at checkout. One thing to know, they only take cash, so bring enough to cover the bill. We’d happily stay again. A beautiful, quiet place.

Our daughter can’t get enough of the animals and likes helping with the barn chores, feeding the cows, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and donkey. Bella, the farm dog, is always up for a cuddle too. Lisi and Rupert are lovely to chat with and share stories about farm life, and the Lottermoser family made us feel welcome again on our second visit. The apartments are cozy, clean, modern, and very well equipped. We enjoyed the breakfast service and homemade honey, jam, yogurt, and milk. From the peaceful spot at the end of the valley, there are spectacular views of the Tennengebirge mountains, hiking trails start right at the farm, and there are lots of attractions nearby. We’re already looking forward to seeing you again next year! 🫶

Easter turned out to be a quiet time here, with the ski season over and summer not yet underway. Hardly any restaurants or lifts were open, though that also meant we had many hiking trails almost to ourselves. We booked a week spontaneously and were greeted very warmly. The children loved being on a real working farm, helping in the barn with the cows, chickens, cats, and dog. The scenery was stunning, and breakfast was great, with plenty of farm products and fresh bread rolls.

We got around on foot or by e-lois once we arrived, after taking the train and a small shuttle bus from Bischofshofen. The farm is peaceful, idyllic, and beautiful. Our modern, clean apartment had everything we needed, and our son especially loved the big trampoline, nest swing, and ride-on toys in the garden. The three-week-old baby rabbits and the goat were a big hit with the kids. Mrs. Lottermoser was a fantastic, friendly host, and we really enjoyed the milk from their cows, homemade yogurt and quark, and eggs from the chickens. We had a wonderful five days at the Lottermoser family's organic farm, Vorderoberlehen, and would gladly return and recommend it.
