Dinner was excellent and very good value, and the host was very friendly. The guest house is in a lovely location, so it’s a shame the room was such a letdown. It was very dated, and in our family room the children’s bed was broken. We didn’t feel the 50 euro supplement for our 8- and 9-year-old children was justified given the poor room quality and the fact that they had to share a broken bed.

A place with a really positive vibe :) The owners are very understanding, and the husband is such a nice guy, always smiling :)

The view in Werfenweng was beautiful during my week there, but the guesthouse had too many problems for me to give it more than one star. There was no hot water for the first few days; after three days it came on, but still not consistently. The food was canned and basically inedible, the service was very rude, and hygiene was generally poor. The beds hadn’t been freshly made, and there were bugs everywhere.

The beds were comfortable, and Peter was always in a good mood. Still, the food wasn’t especially good and there wasn’t much variety. Wi-Fi was weak to nonexistent, and the water was mostly cold. The owner was somewhat unfriendly. Fine for a quick, short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer.

Lunch was usually good, but dinner was really good only twice during our six days. Breakfast had a relatively small selection. The room was okay, though the running water was inadequate, especially the hot water.
