The kids loved the rabbits, and we enjoyed getting fresh milk and “semmel” in the morning. The apartment was spotless, tidy and nicely equipped, with plenty of room in both bedrooms and the kitchen. It was very comfortable for our family of four, with wonderful views from the windows and balcony, right below the Tennengebirge mountains. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The farm is a treat, with animals to see and a chance to help out. You can get fresh eggs and milk from the farm, plus bread from the bakery in the morning. Our hostess was welcoming and regularly checked whether we needed anything, and gave us great hiking tips. The apartment was more spacious and prettier than the photos, and very well equipped. It’s a peaceful, sunny spot with lovely views of the Tennengebirge and Hochkonig mountains, close to the village. Highly recommended!

We’ve been to Werfenweng ten times now, and it’s wonderful in summer and winter. On this short trip, skiing wasn’t yet possible in Werfenweng, so we drove 40 minutes to Obertauern. Before arrival, our questions were answered quickly and booking was easy. The welcome was so warm that we felt at home straight away in the comfortable, fully equipped apartment. We were offered tea and delicious cake on the first evening, and the hosts always made time for us. They even let us city dwellers look around the barn. We’ll definitely return to ÖRGLGUT.

At night it was just the wind, with the cows quietly munching away. There was fresh milk straight from the cow, and none of the usual tourist traps nearby. The family were incredibly friendly and had anything we might need ready. A great location and amazing views of the mountain range. Just the kind of holiday I need.
