The view is like a postcard, and the location is great in summer or winter. In winter you can ski straight in and out since it’s right on the slope. We’ve been here several times and it’s always a pleasure, every visit has been a great experience.

I was surprised when the owner canceled my reservation on the day I was due to arrive. It left my itinerary in confusion, and felt disrespectful to the customer.

The view of the Alps is fantastic, and the rooms are lovely, very clean, and reasonably priced. This is a welcoming, family-run place, with the landlady living in the house and treating you like a grandmother. Breakfast has a wide selection, and the house is right next to a ski slope, with heated storage rooms for skis and other gear in the basement. Bring snow chains if you’re arriving in winter, since Haus Bergfried is on a mountain. We’ll definitely be back.

A great base for a ski holiday, right on piste 110c with ski in and out. The view is exquisite, and you get very high value for little money. Breakfast was lovely, and the hostess was welcoming, cheerful, and helpful. Remember to bring snow chains in winter. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
