The gluten free schnitzel with salad, pan fried potatoes and chips was delicious. Finding gluten free food in Austria can be hard, but the staff here were thoughtful and incredibly helpful. Service was friendly, quick and attentive without ever feeling like too much. Thank you!

Our American Music Aboard group came for dinner, and the food was SO GOOD. I’m not much of a soup fan, but the spaghetti with meat sauce was a hit, and dessert was phenomenal too. I’d absolutely recommend the place.

The restaurant was the one disappointment during our visit to Westendorf. The drinks arrived quickly after we sat down, along with the food menu, but after that our waiter vanished and nobody came to take our food order. We waited a long time, then tried unsuccessfully to get someone to take payment. I eventually went inside and paid for the drinks, only to find that another waiter had also taken payment from the rest of our group outside.

The place has a really nice atmosphere, like stepping back into the ’80s. The food is another story. That “Zigeunerschnitzel” you served, guys, has to be a joke. It’s a Hungarian dish and can be really tasty, but this version left me with no words. If you’re ever in Budapest, let me know, you’re all invited to try an original Zigeuner 😉
