The hostess was very nice and friendly. The location is quiet, though quite far from the town center, the train station, the bus stop, and the main road. My room was simply furnished, and while the new shower and toilet were nice, I noticed a few silverfish and two larger insects. It seemed clean otherwise. I was bitten by countless mosquitoes during the night. There was an anti-mosquito plug, but it didn't help. Breakfast was very basic: coffee or tea, a plate of sausage and cheese, rolls, butter, jam, and artificial orange juice. An egg or fried egg is available if you ask.

Our only real disappointment was breakfast. The quality was fine, but there wasn't much variety from day to day, and no muesli, fruit, or options for children. A self-service setup would give people more choice, and the dining room could use a little decoration. Still, we were thrilled with our stay and would definitely return. The family gave us an incredibly warm welcome, and the grounds and pool are fantastic. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and inviting, from the property and house to the rooms and bathrooms. The town is a five-minute walk away, and the swimming pool is about ten minutes away.

This was our second stay at Sonnblick, and we enjoyed it. The beds were good, and the location is beautiful, within walking distance of the slopes. It is handy to keep skis in a locker at the lift. Breakfast was fine but not extensive, and getting it all on the table took quite a while. The owners are getting on in years and just need a bit more time.

The house is very clean and well cared for, and the owners are friendly and always ready with an excursion suggestion. It's such a peaceful, beautiful place to relax. In summer, the pool is a welcome change after a hike.

The hostess makes you feel at home, and if you tell her what you need in advance, she'll sort it out. The place is a little basic, but it's a good stay. The cleanliness and the pool are real pluses.
