Jugendherberge Tirol Funpark

We never got to see Westendorf, and I’d strongly advise against booking this center. We’d reserved accommodation for 64 people and paid our deposit back in 2019 for a 2020 trip, then postponed it to 2021 and again to 2022, each time with written confirmation. A few months before we were due to travel, Rupert told us he’d double booked and couldn’t take us. Our flights were already booked and paid for. He eventually suggested other accommodation, where we were looked after very well, but the stress nearly ruined our trip. I wouldn’t try to book this center again or recommend it to another group.

The rooms were spotless, and we felt right at home during our weekend with a large group at the Westendorf Funpark. The building is just minutes from shops and hiking trails. There’s a huge range of leisure activities indoors and outdoors, right in and around the building, and the park itself is very large and well maintained. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable four days celebrating our birthdays with nearly 60 people, children included. The large covered outdoor bar meant we could enjoy it in any weather, and there was a big fire pit too. The group setup worked brilliantly for self-catering, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining areas, plenty of space for food and drink, clean common rooms and washing facilities, plus indoor and outdoor play areas. Planning communication was helpful, as was the briefing when we arrived. Thank you for such a wonderful time!
