Hotel Garni Austria

The people are what made this stay special. The three staff members I met were friendly and polite, always ready with a smile and a kind word. The owner and her co-owner, I think, were full of jokes and positivity. They remembered things we’d talked about earlier and had such a down-to-earth, caring way about them. I arrived late, at 9:30pm, after a flight and a long drive from Milan. The owner was so welcoming and lively that I forgot how exhausted I was. Even when work meant I only got a few hours of sleep, the energy those two brought was infectious. I’d love to return and stay at their hotel again, and enjoy the weather and scenery. I can imagine winter being a wonderland, and wonder what the hotel looks like with its Christmas decorations in December. I wish them all the best. The rooms are cosy and clean, with an awesome mountain view. The decor feels comfortable and homely, yet somehow regal. The location is great, and breakfast is a nice, light European spread that made me feel at home. There’s an attention to detail you don’t get at big chain hotels. It doesn’t feel sterile.

Veronika and her husband made our week in Westendorf wonderful, from the moment we arrived until we left seven days later. We stayed in February 2022, and they took such good care of my family. The hotel and apartment rooms are both well equipped and comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the slopes, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We come to Westendorf every year and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The rooms are beautiful and immaculately clean, and the location right in the village centre is perfect. Veronika gives us such a warm welcome and makes every visit feel special.

Veronica and her son Max run a really high-class family hotel. The rooms are spotless, with a view from every balcony. Breakfast is great, and it’s nice to have a friendly chat too. 10/10.
