It works well for a short or medium-length stay, and was a good place to get started. There’s a washing machine, plus the basics: an electric stove and kettle, wardrobe, table and chairs.

We stayed for a month starting in March after water damage in our apartment, and they offered us a price concession when we explained the situation. The room was okay, though there wasn’t any service on site. Picking up the key on the other side of Wiener Neustadt made public transport a bit tricky.

Small rooms, but they’re laid out just right. The host was fantastic, and we had everything we needed.

I asked at the beginning of January 2019 and was told the rooms were only available for long-term rental. Given that, advertising how close it is to the state exhibition feels misleading.

The location was very good, but the beds were terrible. There was no service, and the place was very unkempt.
