After an exhausting trip, it was lovely to arrive somewhere so calm and modern. I only stayed one night as a stopover, but the rooms and attention to detail were outstanding. Breakfast was just as good.

There was just one other couple staying, besides us, and we were given the attic room(?). It was very dark and dusty, with an overpowering incense smell. Breakfast was bad: old bread, dry chopped vegetables, canned fruit "salad", bad coffee, and no vegan or vegetarian options. At checkout they charged us "taxes" even though everything had already been paid. I'd never had that happen before, and honestly it didn't feel legitimate, but I just wanted to leave by then. I know it wasn't high season, but there should still be minimum standards. The experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't stay again.
