You get tasty food that’s just right, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and genuinely kind hosts. This is a lovely family-run pension in the middle of Niederau. There’s a short blue run and drag lift across the road, handy for beginners and intermediate skiers, with a link over to the chairlift and gondola. The official rating really doesn’t do it justice. It’s simple, practical accommodation that covers what you need, without any snobbery or fuss from waiters. We’d recommend it to couples or families looking for that kind of place 😉

Our room was roomy, with plenty of storage and comfortable beds, and the ski and boot room had everything we needed. We’ve just come back from a great week at Pension Enzian. Tom and Tina made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed half board, and the food suited us perfectly. Spot on for a week on the slopes. Well done, Pension Enzian, room 12.

The best part of our Crystal ski holiday was how friendly Thomas and Tina were. They’re superstars, and we loved staying at the Enzian. It’s ski in, ski out, with a good boot room, and the food was good too. We spent a week skiing around Niederau and the Alpbach region, and found it great value.

It felt like coming home in Austria, thanks to such warm, lovely people. The rooms are clean and have what you need, plus balconies looking out to the Austrian Alps. The food is Austrian cooking, generous in amount, and very good for the price.

The breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning, and the rooms were very clean. The hosts were amazing too. Honestly, it was one of my best B&B stays, and I’ll definitely go back.
