The food was okay, and it's a nice place for children who enjoy farms, but don't expect luxury or much space. Our room was poorly finished, the beds were poor quality, and there was nowhere for shoes or skis except the balcony. The beds weren't made and the rooms weren't cleaned. At nearly 1000 euro per week for two adults and two kids, I think the price should reflect those shortcomings. The okay rating only works for a two or three day stay. Longer than that, the room gets really dirty or your back starts to suffer from the bed. Also check whether the lift in Auffach is open near the end of the ski season. It closed on the second day of our stay, leaving a 50-minute drive to Alpbach for skiing.

We stayed here once on our way to Italy and again on the way to Germany. The price is unbeatable, and the service was great. The kind soul of the house was so nice, and the food was simply fantastic, super, super, super. The rooms were very dated and had no TV, though a news channel would have been nice. Some beds needed new mattresses and a proper cleaning, while the bedding itself was completely fine. It felt very nice and homely, and the minor criticisms are only meant as suggestions for improvement. You have to bring your own drinks for dinner, so remember the beer and wine. Thanks again! 👍‼️👍😅

What stays with me most is the hospitality: warm, friendly, and always attentive. The value for money is unbeatable, especially with the food. The accommodation itself is simple and basic, so don't expect luxury. In return, there's peace and quiet, a magnificent view, and a fantastic base for hikes and other activities, whether you have a car or leave it parked. I'd highly recommend it and will certainly return.
