The hiking trails begin right at the house, and Sandhof is a perfect place to relax and unwind. This was our third stay with Christine and her family, and once again we felt very comfortable in the wonderful vacation apartment. It had just been renovated again 👍👍 We'll definitely be back! 😊😊👍👍‼️‼️

The host family, Grandma included, were incredibly kind and helpful during our lovely few days in the Wildschönau region. They even gave us a ride to the trailhead and picked us up afterward. The farm is peaceful, right among beautiful hiking trails, and the apartment was very clean. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything.

We loved our stay at Sandhof. The balcony gave us a view of deer in the evenings, and there are lots of excellent restaurants in nearby Auffach. The Schatzberg cable car is an easy walk away and is included in the guest card. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, and we'd love to return!

We had a beautiful view from the Sandhof, high up on the mountain, and it was so peaceful there. This was our first holiday in Austria, and if we come back, we'd happily stay here again.

The homemade jam is delicious, and every room has a tropical shower :) The family makes you feel very welcome, and children are welcome too. When there's enough snow, you can ski straight down to the valley station, so you can set off from the door in the morning. We've been coming here in winter for years and always feel well looked after.
