We’ve stayed here several times and always have a great time. The service is very friendly, and they really try to make your stay enjoyable. The food is very good, and the half-board option works perfectly while skiing. It’s a lovely place in either summer or winter.

We brought our dog, so they seated us in one of the two restaurants, where there wasn’t anyone else. With the large balcony full of a coach party, we had to eat inside, and there was no atmosphere. The beer was okay. I had the chicken schnitzel during our 10-day stay in Niederau, and the food was pretty average, nowhere near as good as several other places nearby.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but ate there three times in one week. Sabine kindly made me an omelette even though it wasn’t on the menu. I’d happily dine there again and would recommend it.

The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely shower. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, and there’s a very good evening menu too. The staff were all amazing, and the hotel has fabulous views.

The staff were kind and took our criticism well, and I hope they improve the fondue. We came just for dinner and didn’t stay at the hotel. It was the worst fondue we’ve ever had, easily. It seemed like instant cheese sauce instead of fondue made with fresh cheese, wasn’t stringy, and appeared to have far too much flour. We couldn’t finish it, and it cost €42. That quality at that price is unacceptable.
