The biggest issue was the 70 euros we paid for this stay. We were only traveling through to Italy and needed one night with our child. Before we arrived, a polite man on the phone offered us a room with breakfast, which sounded ideal. Late that evening we were taken to a section beside the main building. In the lobby there were drunk, noisy men, and they went into the room next to ours. Our room was in very poor shape, dusty everywhere, with sheets that clearly hadn't been washed recently. The shared bathroom down the hall was filthy, and the people next door kept making noise until 4 a.m. even after being warned. I know places can have different service standards, but families with small children should be told they're being put in a staff hotel with unwanted company next door. We probably would have said no.
