The rooms are lovely and have been recently renovated. Breakfast was good, and dinner was good too when the restaurant was open.

We spent three nights at Landgasthof Erber and used it as a base to explore the countryside. It's in Zelking, a few minutes from Melk and its famous abbey, which is well worth seeing, and right at the edge of Austria's Danube wine country. Manfred was a welcoming and attentive host. This family-run place was a wonderful part of our vacation, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Austrian countryside.
