It's about a 20-minute walk to the center of Zell am See, and the bus stops right by the building. You can park for free beside or underneath it. For the low price, it's a great option as long as you don't expect too much. The rooms are plain and clean, with what you need. The beds are okay, though the couch may be a little short for a tall person. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the extra costs were listed on the voucher, so there were no surprises. We tidied the room before checkout and got our full deposit back. They provide only two rolls of toilet paper, so it's a good idea to buy more in case you run out.

The people were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very cheap. Good location, clean, parking, and the kitchen was all fine.

This stay cost us extra money and time, and I wouldn't book here again. We were told we could check out on January 4, but staff started clearing rooms at 10:00 am on January 3. While some of us were skiing, our friends called in a panic because staff were handling our things. When we got back, the owner and employees had thrown our clothes and other belongings roughly on the floor. Our friends had to collect everything and pack it, and we spent time sorting it out. They then took €105 from our deposit for an allegedly dirty kitchen. It wasn't severely dirty and could have been tidied in minutes, especially if we'd been allowed to finish cleaning. We argued about it at length, but the charge wasn't reversed. The owner kept hovering and pressuring us about departure time, then made small talk about our bus journey. That felt like an attempt to smooth things over, not a sincere apology. There were problems from check-in onward. After paying a €40 cleaning fee online, we were asked for another €100 in cash on arrival and a €250 cash security deposit. The demand for large cash payments felt outdated and sketchy. The sleeping setup was misleading too: the listing said the apartment slept four, but there was one proper bedroom and a small sofa bed that clearly couldn't fit two adults. We're tall, and our feet hung over the beds. Reception responded abruptly when we raised it and offered no useful solution. Housekeeping was almost nonexistent during our seven nights. Towels were never replaced, leaving us essentially with one each, and requests for basics like toilet paper took a long time. While our bags were stored in the ski room, we overheard guests with the same number of people being charged different rates. We paid €15 per person for sheets and towels while they paid €10. Their cleaning fee was €140 and ours was €110. It felt arbitrary and unfair. I am writing my first-ever review because this was so bad that others should be warned. Poor communication, little service, surprising cash-only demands, inconsistent prices, rough handling of belongings, and a disputed penalty made for a terrible stay. If you're planning a ski trip to Zell am See, book elsewhere.

We got the €250 security deposit back after checking the apartment together on the night we left and cleaning everything. But on the way home, we received a threatening email saying we owed €500 for damage. When we arrived, the owner had asked for a €270 cleaning charge and a €250 deposit. Very bad experience, 0/10, I would never visit again. Alhamdullilah.
