There’s plenty of space to park bicycles, plus a service booth with tools and an air pump. The property itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms, and it’s right beside the train station and close to lots of restaurants. The kitchen has everything you need, including a large fridge for food and drinks. There’s also a dining area and a lounge.

The beds were incredibly comfortable. We did ask for extra pillows, and they arrived within minutes with no fuss. The rooms and shared kitchen were spotless, and that kitchen deserves more attention: it has everything for a self-catering stay, alongside a lounge and a big dining room. Check-in was easy, and staff were available on WhatsApp around the clock. There’s a garage you can use before or after check-in, and a ski room too. The only downside was that nobody seemed to lock the ski room. We had a really lovely stay.

Villa A is a lovely base for a couple or parents with one or two younger children. There’s a separate bedroom and a bunk bed tucked into the shared living area. We were glad we found it. The apartment is at the top of the house, with plenty of room, a comfortable layout, and a great kitchen and bathroom. From the spacious balcony, the view looks southeast over the lake and mountains. It’s near the town center and less than 200 metres from the train station. Staff were always friendly and quick to respond, both in person and on WhatsApp.

The mattress was awful, thin, lumpy and worn out, and I sank right into it. After a long day out, I slept terribly. The room matched the photos, but it didn’t feel the same in person. Saving money on a mattress like this makes no sense. At least the room was clean, the location was perfect, and self check-in was simple. I stayed last month.
