Glaserer-Haus

We had a wonderful week here as a family. The hotel is clean and well run, with very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. It's right in the town centre and close to the ski lift, and breakfast was great every morning. Highly recommended.

A really warm welcome, great breakfast and easy parking made for a lovely holiday. The lift is only five minutes away in ski boots, and the train station is ten minutes away. Brilliant service and an amazing location. Thank you!

Hans, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable. There aren't many staff, usually just him, the cleaning crew and a few people at breakfast. The reception is oddly on the first floor, not the ground floor. There is no lift, so getting luggage up to the second floor means climbing four flights of stairs. Rooms were clean and tidy, though showing their age, especially the bathroom and fittings. The hotel could use refurbishment in places. It's right in the centre of Zell am See, with its own private car park, many shops, restaurants and bars nearby, and the lake just a few minutes' walk away. It has a sauna and showers. Street noise was an issue for me, with drunk people shouting as they walked past and waking me. Breakfast felt cramped, with too many people and not enough space to serve yourself. Drinks and snacks are expensive at the hotel, a canned or bottled drink is 3.5 Euros. Buy them from local shops. If these issues don't bother you, you'll be fine, but there are lots of nice hotels to choose from.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was good 👍🏻. The location was perfect. The rooms were a bit old, but nice and clean.
