Hassan, Danijela and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and kind from the moment I arrived. On my solo backpacking trip, the hotel was a great break from hostels. My bed was comfortable, the balcony was lovely to hang out on, and the shower was small but had great water pressure. The weather in Zell Am See was bad, so it was wonderful to unwind in the sauna away from the water. The hotel is outside the city centre, but the local train is about a five-minute walk away. You can also walk along the lake to the city centre in about 35 minutes. I highly recommend Landhaus Zell Am See.

The walk beside the lake into the centre was lovely, and there are some very good restaurants close by. The hotel itself is a little outside the busier part of Zell am See, so it was peaceful. We had a spotless, well-equipped room with a stunning mountain view, and the breakfast was fresh with plenty to choose from, including cooked eggs and omelettes. The owners were warm and friendly, and we enjoyed their recommendations and sharing a beer with them. We had a really lovely stay and are already looking forward to coming back 😊

Hasan and Daniela made us feel very welcome. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, tucked away from the lively downtown area of Zill am see. My room was spacious, with great water pressure in the shower, and the internet was fast. There’s plenty of parking if you arrive by car. Breakfast is an extra 15€, but I found it well worth it before a full day of skiing. The lobby bar is well stocked too, if you fancy a nightcap.

The sauna was superb, the hotel was great, and the food was excellent. Hassan and the whole team clearly enjoy their work, and they made us feel like old friends as soon as we arrived. We had a wonderful time here.

Kotaiba, Suzanna, and Mario have lovely personalities, and they put so much effort into looking after guests. Our room was spotless, the balcony was peaceful, and breakfast was excellent. We only wish we’d had more time to get to know them. I’m planning to spend every annual vacation with them. I’m grateful 😊🥰
