Hotel Salzburgerhof

The spa was outstanding, and the rooms were wonderful. Service was at a high level in every department. We’re a family from Greece, and we’re sincerely grateful for the warm hospitality and the generous room upgrade. Such a special experience. I highly recommend it. 🩷💙⛷️

I chose the most basic room, and it was still very spacious and excellent for the price. The staff were attentive, engaging and efficient, and the facilities had all the wellness options I needed. I stayed four days in mid-December for skiing, with transfers to the lifts, though CityXpress is under a ten-minute walk. Full board included hearty lunch, afternoon cake buffet, and varied evening meals with entertainment most nights. My only gripe was the 100 euro late checkout fee, but those are the rules. I think it’s very good value and would highly recommend it.

The location is nice and the staff are friendly, but for a five-star standard, basic items shouldn’t require a call. We had to ask for a kettle. The AC was really hot, and there was no iron or ironing board because they’re prohibited under safety regulations. When we called at 9 PM to request urgent ironing service, we were told staff weren’t available and to contact them in the morning. They also couldn’t say how long the service would take.

The changing dinner menu was full of fresh, flavorful food, and the meals were exceptional. Our room had incredible mountain views, the gardens were beautifully maintained, and the evening turn-down service was a lovely surprise. Seydo was especially welcoming, helpful and kind, and the service from everyone was amazing. We stayed 28/06-05/07. Hotel Salzburgerhof felt so special that, although we don’t often want to return to places, we’d make an exception for it. It was 100% worth the money. Thank you to the whole team. Ellen & Callum
