Modern Apartment Near Lake in Zell Em See

The apartments are nice, but they need more kitchen equipment. Check-in is inconvenient because it happens at another location, and the direct route to the main road is closed, so you have to take a detour. Be careful using the hob, since the smoke alarms are sensitive. We were charged 75 euros after guests triggered an alarm, even though it wasn't deliberate. Guests are responsible for safety at the property, but we ended up paying the bill. There was no information in the room about what to do in the case of an obvious false alarm. We were on the premises that day, so someone could have called to check before arranging a call-out. Information telling us to call and say assistance wasn't needed would have been enough. This hidden cost is unacceptable.

The service was a bad experience and left us with bad memories. There was no reception for check-in, so we had to go to another hotel. At check-in, we were surprised by a 98 euro cleaning charge that we hadn't been told about beforehand. When we reached our room, hoping to rest, it was in terrible condition and hadn't been cleaned at all. We called the manager, who asked us to wait a long time while the issue was fixed.

The apartments look and feel amazing, and the mountain view is spectacular. They're also within an easy walk of the main city centre.

The service and staff were awful. When we checked out, they said we'd broken the door, but it was already broken before we arrived. They took 500€ from my card without my permission, and also took 150€. I would never recommend this place.
