Post Residence Apartments

The apartment felt new, and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy, with both a bath and a separate shower, and there was also a separate toilet. We appreciated having a lockable ski room in the building and a dishwasher. The living room was on the small side, though, and there wasn't much closet space. The kitchen could have been better equipped.

A lovely apartment with a sauna and jacuzzi. The internet was weak, though, and the bed mattress wasn't good.

The balcony looked out over the town and Lake Zell, and the old town was right nearby, with supermarkets and a drugstore just around the corner. We stayed three nights at the Appartementhotel Post and found everything very clean and new-looking. Our top-floor apartment worked well for us with a baby or toddler. The welcome was very friendly, and all floors have elevator access, though there are a few stairs at the entrance. There isn't parking at the building, but the Zell am See guest card gets you discounted parking at the APCOA garage. The bed was very comfortable, even with our toddler in the middle. The bathroom has a sauna that fits two people sitting or one lying down, and the toilet is separate. The kitchen was well equipped overall, with a dishwasher and both filter and Nespresso coffee makers, but we missed little things like paper towels, dish soap, and basic cooking utensils. Bring your own shower gel and shampoo. We'd happily come back.

The bus station nearby brought some noise, and there was no private parking. Still, the ski lift is very close. We liked the large, warm rooms, the well-equipped kitchen, and the sauna in the bathroom. I'd recommend this hotel.
