A lovely setting, and the apartments are beautiful.

The ski bus to the Rosenalmbahn stops practically outside, and adults can also manage the walk. The Arnika apartment worked well for our ski holiday, with room for 4 to 6 people and everything we needed. There’s a good ski room downstairs with boot warmers and its own entrance, plus a bigger lounge with a minibar on the ground floor. The house is very well looked after. We booked dinner at the hotel across the street twice, and the food was superb, with a range of appetizers at a very fair price. Drinks cost extra, of course. Guests can also use that hotel’s sauna and swimming pool. We hardly ever stay in the same place again, but if we’re back in the Zillertal Valley, we’ll definitely book here.

We enjoyed the free facilities at the hotel opposite, especially the indoor and outdoor pools and the lovely sauna complex, which is for ages 15 and up. The Saturday barbecue evening is well worth trying. Apartment Arnika was clean, attractive, and fully equipped, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a great sofa bed for 4-6 people. It also had a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge with a freezer compartment. The summer toboggan run and the cable car up the Rosenalm are about a five-minute walk away. There’s more to do in the Zillertal than we managed in two weeks.
