Haus Weitenstich in Zell am Ziller makes a great base for a hiking or family holiday. We explored different parts of the Zillertal, which were breathtaking, and took trips to the glacier near Hintertux and the Ice Palace at 3,000 meters. We also went canyoning near Mayrhofen, visited the Krimml Waterfalls, and tried the climbing forest near Gerlos. We thought the apartment was beautifully furnished and finished, and we'd give it a solid rating. The attentive landlord helped with that. There were two small snags for me: at 190 cm, I found the beds cramped, and I couldn't get the thermostatic shower valves warm enough for my liking. That would be especially welcome on warmer days.

We found a lovely holiday apartment and got a very warm welcome. It was large, spacious, and very clean, with the town center just a short walk away. The location also works well for excursions around the Zillertal valley. We'd booked it for a concert in Zell am Ziller, and the booking and other arrangements were quick, reliable, and straightforward. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for everything! :)

A quiet place and a lovely base for trips around the area. The hostess was very nice, the facilities were great, and there was plenty of space. The bed was soft, though that's a matter of personal preference.
