Reiserhof

We’ve just arrived, and the apartment is lovely. It’s tidy, warm and comfortable, with everything included.

The rooms are small, but they have what you need. The bed is made, the heating works well, and the bathroom is clean with a good shower, though it’s a bit cramped. The bed itself is soft and warm but somewhat saggy. There’s also a terrace with a table and chairs. Breakfast is tasty and traditional. The lady who serves it only speaks German, but she’s happy to help. There’s no lunch or dinner available. You can walk to the ski area or take the ski bus. The stop for Rohrberg is a minute away, with buses at 8:15 and 9:15, free with a ski pass. Taxis keep taking the wrong turn onto a nearby road with the same name, so use Google Maps to get the right route. Payment for your stay is cash only; there’s an ATM in the village about a 10-minute walk away.

The rooms are more than adequate for the price, and the toilet, bathroom and room are cleaned every day. The shower is very spacious. There’s a flat-screen TV with the usual channels, and the ski lift is a two-minute drive away. Breakfast is tasty, though I’d have liked eggs with it.

We had a wonderful family holiday in this lovely location. The house was spacious and clean, and the hosts were friendly. I highly recommend staying here.
