We came here for dinner with friends who were staying at the Tannenhof. The farm is lovely, just outside the village, and the three sisters who run it gave us warm, excellent service. The food was wonderful. We’d make a point of coming back next time we visit Ziller.

We had a great stay at this clean hotel, with good food and drinks. The ski bus stop is 130 meters away. Breakfast starts at 0730, while dinner is at 1900h and takes about two hours. With small children, the long gaps between courses can make dinner less convenient, though a card game or another activity helps pass the time. A really great place to stay.

The Egger Sisters are what make this place so special. Their hospitality was amazing, the daily service was great, and we enjoyed the meals served each evening. The location is good too. I’ve just returned from a week here with friends and can wholeheartedly recommend Pension Tannerhof in the Zillertal valley. Go and enjoy the Zillertal.

If you enjoy Austrian culture, give this hotel a try. It’s nicely situated in zell am zilla, the service is excellent, and the food is perfect. This really feels like the essence of Austria.
