I can't recommend it. It's a real shame, because it used to be a simple but lovely place with a great restaurant. Since the new owner took over, everything has been automated. The service is poor and there's no support. We also had problems like the fire alarm going off several times during the night.

We celebrated a 92nd birthday here with a group booked for 12, though two of us couldn't make it. The welcome was friendly, and the service was excellent throughout. The menu is well put together, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. Starters and main courses were tasty, though the lamb chops were a letdown: one was a lamb chop, but another was a different cut and didn't taste like lamb, with a strong sheep flavor. We mentioned this to the owner, who gave us a digestive schnapps. Prices seemed fair for the setting and the status of the place.

The staff were so friendly, and the garden under the big shady trees was lovely. There was a great choice of delicious food, including vegan dishes and seasonal specials.

A good spot for a one-night stop, in a convenient location and at a reasonable price.

The room was nice and clean, the food was good, and the staff were really nice.
