We dropped in off the street and got a friendly welcome from the staff. The beer was fresh, and the $20 beer and parmi at the bar was delicious. It’s in a good spot near the tram line, with friendly locals too. Highly recommend.

The beer, wine, spirits and cocktails selection is great, and the service at the bar on Saturday night was amazing. Meals are amazing too, and there’s sport on at the front bar Tuesday to Saturday. Stu, Josh, Chey, Jen, Sue and chef Tarno all do their best to help. Happy hour runs every day from 12 to 6 pm. Come in for a drink, a meal, sport or a function. They also have great rooms for a night or a longer stay.

The staff are lovely, polite and friendly. The pub has had a beautiful upgrade, and there’s a great little haven in the huge covered beer garden out back, with a pool table and pinball too.

I went into the gaming room, and the cashier started telling me to turn my hat around while I was already doing it. She stopped and said, “Someone trained you well.” I took my money elsewhere. Maybe she’s been trained too well. No wonder no one goes there anymore. I shouldn’t have taken it personally, but you never know what people are going through. Be polite and make people feel welcome instead of belittling them.
