You can really connect with Australian history here. The place has been thoughtfully preserved while still feeling lived in, like a walk back through time. It was a lovely way to experience important regional and Australian culture.

Paprika is a charming little 1908 building set in lovely gardens, with outdoor tables and seating. We chose it from the range of accommodation at Buxton Manor. It has two double bedrooms, a lounge, dining area, full kitchen, bathroom with a two-person spa bath, and free off-street parking nearby. The property feels full of history and old-world grandeur. North Adelaide is leafy, quiet and safe, and a good base for enjoying South Australia’s capital. Booking, getting into the property and finding nearby restaurants and eateries were all easy. Highly recommend.

William was really helpful and guided us through our stay. We had a wonderful weekend getaway in Adelaide at the George Lowe Esquire, Buxton Manor. The building is gorgeous, and even more breathtaking once you step inside. Our rooms were clean and lovely, great for couples or friends. Such an awesome experience, I recommend it to couples and families. You won’t regret it!

My husband and I had a lovely night at Musica Viva, with wine and the feeling of stepping back in time. When we arrived, the house seemed full of wonderful stories, and the classical music in the background made the place feel like an experience from the past. Every piece of furniture and detail made our weekend feel like a dream. The master suite was incredible. I highly recommend it if you’re after a special experience!
