Clean, pleasant place with a good bed and lovely linen. Bring your own pillow. I would have liked a coffee table in front of the sofa.

The staff made us feel like royalty as soon as we arrived. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the attention to detail was impeccable.

I could hear everything happening in the other rooms and in the gazebo outside, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. During my four-day stay, the room wasn’t cleaned. The bedsheets weren’t pulled up, the towels weren’t changed, and things felt kind of grotty. My bed was extremely soft and high. On my last day I could barely get into it, and when I tried to get out I fell and hit my back on the bedside table. Not a good experience.

There was parking off the highway, which was a plus. But after reading the reviews, I wondered if we’d stayed somewhere else. The chairs felt like rocks, and the bathroom smelled on two of the days we were there. There was no crockery in the room, so we had to use the laundry. A note there said it was open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., like the toaster and microwave, but nothing in the room mentioned those hours. I had to call to find out. We should probably have brought our own pillows too.
