Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes by IHG

It's quite far from the city, and the nearby dining choices are mostly Asian takeaway, so there's not much variety unless you travel. The only real issue in the hotel was the bathtub, which didn't look fully clean. There may have been dried candle wax left in it. Otherwise, my stay at Crowne Adelaide Mawson Lakes was very good. The room was spacious, comfortable, excellent and well maintained, and the friendly staff made the visit more pleasant. The hotel feels solid and somewhat upscale. I'd stay again.

Lunch and dinner were standouts. The wagyu burgers were amazing, the Aviator Salad was generous and delicious, and the kids' portions were ample for our little ones. We stay more than 125 nights a year at IHG hotels around the world, and have for 10 years, and this visit ranks among the best Crowne Plaza experiences I can remember. The team were welcoming and made the whole stay enjoyable. The modern rooms were clean and really comfortable, and the location suited our events in Adelaide's north perfectly. Can't wait to visit again in 2026!

We felt warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived, and the service was professional throughout. The drinks and food at Aviator Bar and Ember & Vine were full of flavour, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was just right. Amir looked after us so well that night and made it feel extra special. You can tell the team cares about the details and giving guests a high-quality experience. Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes stands out in the area, whether you're staying, having a meal, or just stopping by for a drink. We're already looking forward to returning and planning something special with the team. Highly recommend!

The staff were all warm, helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. It was nice to have a bar and quiet seating areas where we could relax or socialise outside our room. We needed a wheelchair-accessible room, which was good overall, but the bathroom needed more shelves and towel rails for the disabled guest. The coffee and tea area was small and awkward, and a proper window would have been nicer than opaque glass. We couldn't see the "lakes," though we enjoyed being out of town. We were disappointed that an ACROD parking space couldn't be reserved at the usual $29 per night. Despite those issues, we'd stay again. Well done to the delightful staff!
