The carpets were dirty, so I have to take off a star, but the rest was great. The place was clean and comfortable, well laid out, and very close to the CBD. Check-in is at the hotel across the road, where the team and food were fantastic. Rates were very reasonable. I’ll stay again.

The location is good and parking is free, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I specifically asked for a room away from the stairs and was told that would be arranged, then got a room right at the top of them. Check-in and service were poor, and the rooms are in very bad shape. I won’t be back.

I stayed five nights in midsummer, and there was a power outage that lasted half a day. No one serviced the room, cleaned the bathroom or changed the sheets during my stay. The room and bathroom were nice, but I don’t understand why a double mattress was put on a queen-sized base. It’s a little overpriced for what you get.

I travelled to Adelaide for medical tests and to see specialists, and arranged a three-day stay, explaining that I might need a few more days depending on what the specialist said. Staff advised me to pay for the first two days and let them know the next day if I needed to extend. After my appointment the following day, I called as soon as I got back to the motel to say I needed two more days for further tests. They told me they’d booked out my room and I had to leave the next morning. They flatly refused to fix their mistake. They were dishonest and completely incompetent. There was no apology or acknowledgement of their fault. Luckily, a friend came to the rescue, or I’d have been sleeping in my car.
