Esplanade Apartments At West Beach

The room was a little smaller than I expected, and there was quite a bit of ambient noise. The gate is very loud. Still, we enjoyed our time here. The location and service were great, and staff helped whenever we needed anything.

The kids were happiest about the playground across the road, especially the flying fox, which seemed fun for all ages. Right beside it is a lovely beach with bright yellow sand. The water was warm for the ocean, though not as warm as Asian seas, and clear on some days but not when the waves were up. We stayed as two adults and two children in a clean, comfortable two-bedroom apartment on the first floor, with everything we needed. Supermarket was an easy walk, and getting around by car was convenient. Lena was very welcoming and quick to help. When my son and I slept on the floor, she brought extra sheets and blankets. Parking is behind gates by the building, and there's a washing machine for a small extra fee. We loved it and hope to come back soon.

We were sorry to leave after our 14-day stay, and we'd happily return. The beach is just across the road, with long walks and good restaurants only minutes away. The apartments are clearly older, but that doesn't take away their charm. The rooms, linen, kitchenware and appliances were all clean and working. Staff and managers did everything they could to make our time enjoyable. Thanks for looking after us, and for being a place worth supporting.

Helen, the owner, made us feel welcome and was always checking whether we needed anything. We enjoyed cooking, and our apartment's kitchen was fully equipped. It really felt like a home away from home. We had such a lovely stay.
