A quick walk gets you to the town centre, and Aldi is right across the road, with KFC and Dominos next door. We also enjoyed the shaded, refreshing pool. Our ground-floor room near the front did pick up a little road noise, though traffic was light enough that it wasn't a problem. We had a spacious, fresh triple room with a queen and single bed, a small table with two chairs, and an extra bench for our things. The bathroom was clean and modern, the aircon cooled well, and the WiFi was a bit patchy. We were told NBN was being installed that week. I'd gladly stay again.

After a couple of hours driving, this room was just what we needed. It was a good size, smelled fresh, and had a couch. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with strong pressure. The motel was surprisingly quiet for being on the highway. We booked at the last minute and arrived five minutes later. The receptionist was quiet and expected payment, though I'd already paid online through booking.com. The only small snag was the sugar: there was enough for one coffee or tea, and the coffee-to-sugar ratio didn't make much sense.

The outside may not look like much, but the service was good and the staff went beyond what their jobs required. The room was comfortable and good value for what we paid. There were plenty of charging points, the shower was comfortable, and the lighting was good. TV and internet were pretty good too. It's close to shops, and I'd definitely stay again if I needed to.

I specifically booked a ground-floor room because I use a walker and can't manage stairs. I was given a room number, then an hour before I arrived the manager called to say he'd leave the key under the ashtray, but gave me a different room number. When I got there, that room was upstairs. The manager wasn't there. After several calls, I was told he'd changed the rooms and there were none left. I had to find another motel that was open, which was difficult so late on New Year's Day.

We booked at the last minute and were really impressed. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It sits on a main road, but was very quiet, and groceries and other shops are only a short walk away. It was affordable and a very nice place to stay. Psycho Suzie’s brewing is also just a short walk away, and I'd recommend dinner and a beer there. We'd absolutely recommend this place if you're passing through.
