After hours of interstate driving, I needed a decent rest, but the bed made that impossible. The mattress was rock hard and I could feel every spring. My back is in so much pain.

The woman who checked us in was super nice. Parking is a little cramped, though there was enough room for the cars, and there was a slight smell.

The rooms were really clean and the service was great. It’s dated, but good value for what you pay. I stay in a lot of cheap motels, and this one was good, no bed bugs or mites, lol.

The owners personally checked us in at 11:45 pm and were friendly, helpful and great at keeping in touch. The room had what we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We heard a little road noise, but it didn’t keep us awake. We needed a cheap, last-minute stop for a few hours’ sleep on our drive from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast, with a very late check-in, and this was great value. I’m glad I booked despite the negative reviews, and I’d stay again.
