Western Gums Tourist Park

Kyabram is a lovely town with everything you need, including great eateries, coffee, supermarkets and specialty shops. The park itself was fabulous and quiet, with lush grassy sites and no prickles. The amenities were clean and well maintained. Can’t fault it at all xx

The sites are really nice and large, and the managers were absolutely lovely. We were told the park is owned by the Kyabram club and that we could get a members discount on meals, but at the club we were told that only applied on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The campers next to us had two little dachshunds that barked constantly. The managers were there while it was happening but didn’t do anything. Still, it’s a nice place.

Glenn and Siobhan are welcoming, knowledgeable managers who clearly love the town and surrounds. We enjoyed our time at this pet friendly, small and peaceful park, with green grass and no prickles. Goats and horses in the paddocks next door were friendly. Each site has an undercover car port, which was great in the heat. The modern amenities were clean, and the camp kitchen and games room were huge. There’s a pool and kids playground too. Kyabrum is well placed as a base for the Silo Art trail, and Echuca is only 30 minutes away for a ride on a heritage paddle steamer. It cost $65 a night.

We stayed four nights in our caravan on a powered site over Australia Day weekend. The park had lovely green grass and shady trees, clean toilets and showers, a great camp kitchen setup and a pool. Siobhan and Glenn were friendly and helpful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely return with the family.
