Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean too. Staff were consistently polite and helpful. You can get to Rundle Mall with a short walk. My only real complaint was noise from the street and the air conditioner. I stayed on a weekday, so the Hindle’s street noise wasn’t too bad, but I imagine it could be worse at the weekend. Apart from that, a comfortable stay.

I’d happily book again. The location worked perfectly, with easy walks to Hindley Street Music Hall, Rundell Hall and Central Markets. The room was lovely, with a comfortable king bed, lounge chairs, a clean bathroom and even a pillow menu. We had room service for dinner on the first night and got good service. Happy hour cocktails were great, especially the Margarita, and the lovely receptionist on the evening of the 25th/26th of January was so helpful. The bed felt a bit firm to me, but I still slept fine. There’s a little bright green sensor light above the aircon power that shines too much into the room at night. It should be covered.

The pool area was nice, but the surface is very slippery. Because of that, children aren’t allowed to play much around the pool, though they can stay in the water. The location is very central, with easy access to good shopping. Our room was clean and spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the smart TV let us sign into our own streaming services.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and I really enjoyed the pool, spa, sauna and gym. I wasn’t sure about the area at first because it seemed like a less pleasant part of town, but I soon realised the hotel is very central and close to everything.
