I was unexpectedly stuck at the InterContinental Adelaide for more than a week during a difficult time, and the care from the team made a real difference. Kenneth, Arnab, Andrew, and Atin were especially kind and considerate, and went out of their way to keep me comfortable. Their professionalism and empathy stood out. I’m grateful to the whole team too, from concierge and reception to housekeeping, for treating me and my team with warmth and attention to detail. The property is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it special. This is a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests.

When I was unexpectedly stranded at InterContinental Adelaide, the support from Arnab, Andrew, Aitan, and Kenneth turned a stressful time into one where I felt safe and looked after. They anticipated basic needs, checked in with real concern, and helped without making it feel like an obligation. Their warmth, empathy and professionalism left a lasting impression on me. Please pass on my deepest thanks and compliments to all four. They are a real credit to the hotel and showed what outstanding hospitality can look like.

Andrew at the front desk made us feel welcome and valued as soon as we arrived. He was attentive, friendly and professional, and took the time to make sure our stay was comfortable and everything went smoothly. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and in a great location. We're having a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Adelaide and would happily return.

The towels had yellow stains, the room smelled odd, and there were stains on both the carpet and couch. The lights kept flickering too. Even after I complained, I was left in that room for a longer-than-usual stay. They wouldn't move me to another room or even one with a decent view. How does a hotel operate like this? Absolutely disgusting, one star at best.

I stayed over Christmas during a fire evacuation, and the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. The hotel has plenty of good features, but getting a reply from the General Manager after I requested one seems impossible. Public relations gets zero from me.
