We held a celebration of life for a loved one in the pavilion today, and it was exactly what we wanted. The staff set everything up perfectly and were outstanding, helping with every request we made. The food was delicious and arrived on time. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Perfect, 10/10, and I'd highly recommend it for any function.

The food was delicious, and that’s the reason I’d have given this place five stars. But dinner with our family and friends was let down badly by the service. Our main courses arrived before the garlic bread and arancini, and while the rest of the group got their mains, we were still waiting for those starters. When I asked the waitress about it, she curtly said they were busy, then snapped the same response when I explained the starters should come first. There was no apology, and she made me feel like I was at fault. Some of our group had finished eating by the time the starters finally arrived. Afterwards we waited more than 15 minutes for someone to clear the plates, so I moved them to an empty table behind us. They were cleared straight away then. The restaurant didn’t seem busy, and although it was an extremely hot day, it was air conditioned inside. The food was very good, but the grouchy, rude service spoiled the meal.

We had dinner in the garden seating area, which was a lovely setting, and the food was superb. I had the Barra Fillet, cooked beautifully with crisp skin. Others at our table ordered Chicken Schnitzel with salad and chips, Pork sausages with sautéed greens, mashed potato and gravy, and Chicken wings with sticky Asian sauce. Everything was high quality, and the staff looked after us well.

The chef’s food went down a treat with everyone, and the upgrades were especially wonderful for my children. They had the best Christmas Day because of it. The service was outstanding too, with genuine smiles and care throughout every interaction and meal. Such a lovely Christmas Day experience. We’ll definitely come back.
