For about $100 a night for two, I thought this was great value, especially with breakfast included. There’s a dedicated breakfast room with juice, toast and a good range of bread, including GF, plus cereals, fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee. The motel is a little dated, but the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower hot with good pressure. It was cold outside, and the staff had switched on the heating, so our room was warm when we arrived. It has everything you need after a day on the road. Manager Christine was super friendly and helpful.

You can walk to a pub or sports club for a meal, and there are pet-friendly rooms too. The place is on the main road, but there wasn’t much traffic noise. It may be a bit old, though the rooms are very clean, the beds super comfy with crisp white sheets, and there’s plenty of hot water. Breakfast and bottled water are included. Book direct for the best rate.

We’re an hour from Horsham, and staying here makes it easy to get an early start for buying feed or making appointments. This was our third visit, and we’ll keep coming back. The manager remembers faces and greets us like family, which means a lot. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is easy, just like being at home. There’s no place like it.

The outside looks a little tired, but the rooms are clean and nice, the beds are very comfortable, and there are no scratchy blankets. Plenty of hot water and WiFi fast enough to stream video. Staff are friendly, and the rates are great. Book direct for the best rate, we could have saved $15. I’d certainly stay again.

We needed somewhere dog-friendly and found Smerdon Lodge Motel. Christine was friendly and helpful on the phone. It’s an older style motel, but had what we needed: a central location, clean room, comfy bed, and even a light breakfast. We could bring our dog, which was the main thing. Great value and friendly, especially for anyone travelling with a dog. Thanks, Christine. See you again.
